TheInterstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) is a resource for current information, education, credentialing and best practices regarding renewable energy.
DSIRE (Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Efficiency) is a comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility and federal incentives and policies that promote renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) describes their research in renewable energy technologies and also provides information on energy efficiency and various applications of renewable energy.

PACE “Best Practices”
1st round were crafted in 2010 by an independent, ad hoc team composed of attorneys, underwriters, academics, advocates, energy engineers, including representatives from across the stakeholder spectrum, and were benchmarked to White House and DoE recommendations. Practices and Protocols are improved as the market grows.
Contributors and Stakeholders included representatives from DOE, Berkeley Lab, Gilmore Bell, Armstrong Teasdale, Renew Missouri, University of Missouri, MoDNR, Eathways, Missouri Bankers, Missouri Energy Auditors, St Louis City and County Govt, Missouri Bankers, and Governor Jay Nixon and the 2010 Assembly for signing PACE into law.
